The 70s Rivoli S.p.A. starts it’s activity in 1973 producing precast and pre-stressed elements for industrial and civil buildings. The 80s The company established itself at highest national level through the design and construction of bridges and viaducts for the road sector continuing the production of precast elements for industrial and commercial buildings. A major project is the construction of more than 70 high tech overpasses for the “Serenissima” motorway that links the important Italian cities of Milan and Venice. The 90s Towards the mid-1990s, Rivoli S.p.A.starts it’s internationalization process in South America, opening a branch in Brazil, named Rivoli do Brasil, winning important tenders in the road sector. A landmark project is the cable-stayed bridge over the Cuiaba river using precast pre-stressed elements. The 2000s In order to meet the new logistical needs, at the beginning of 2002 Rivoli do Brasil builds in Palmas, capital of the State of Tocantins, a new and modern prefabrication factory. In this decade Rivoli S.p.A. builds hundreds of pre-cast reinforced concrete bridges with links to the road network in South America, for a total amount of USD 560mln. 2010-13 The internationalization program of Rivoli S.p.A. is continuing, expanding its construction capabilities and know-how in other strategic areas, such as Africa and Middle East. The company sets up a subsidiary in Namibia building all the infrastructure of the Neckartal Dam Project and a branch in the Sultanate of Oman executing 6 high precast balanced cantilever bridges. |
